Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Maldives — Transfer to Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma

Land at Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé, where the resort team will meet you and take you on a speedboat transfer of approximately 40 to 45 minutes across the South Malé Atoll to Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma. Check in to your Beach Villa — steps from the sand and tucked into the island's lush greenery — and take the rest of the day at your own pace. Nap off the travel, sunbathe on the beach, or simply take a slow walk around the island to get your bearings. Dinner is at the resort. Overnight at the Beach Villa.

Day 2: Explore & Experience the Island Life

Start the day with a full buffet breakfast at Kandooma Café. The day is yours to shape — popular options include snorkelling at the island's house reef (just minutes from the shore), trying water sports like jet ski, kayak, or paddleboarding (available at extra cost), or booking a spa session at Kandooma Spa, which regularly comes recommended by past guests. As the day winds down, the beach is one of the better spots on the island to catch the sunset. Dinner is at the resort under the stars. Overnight at the Beach Villa.

Day 3: Shift to Water Villa — Floating Dreams Begin

After breakfast, check out of your Beach Villa and move into your Water Villa — the overwater stretch of the resort with direct lagoon access, sunrise views, and the option to swim right off your own deck. This is a good day to do as little as possible: lounge on your sundeck, swim whenever you feel like it, and let the turquoise water do the work. Day 4: Leisure & Luxury

Booking Terms & Policies

Cancellation Policy

• This package is non-refundable. Once booked, the full amount is retained in case of cancellation.
• If part of the trip has to be cancelled due to unforeseen events (bad weather, strikes, government restrictions), Vacationum will try to offer an alternative, but a cash refund cannot be guaranteed in these cases.

Date Change Policy

• This package is non-changeable. Travel dates cannot be rescheduled once booked.

Refund Policy

• Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 10–15 working days and credited to your Vacationum wallet as Vcash — not back to your original payment method.

Payment Policy

• If booking at least 3 months before departure, you can choose to pay in parts.
• 100% of the total tour cost must be paid 30 days before the date of travel.

Confirmation Policy

1. You'll receive an email confirmation after your initial payment.
2. Your booking is fully confirmed only once 100% payment is received.
3. On full payment, you'll receive your official booking voucher — covering your itinerary, hotel vouchers, and activity confirmations.

Good to Know Before You Travel

• Visa: Indian passport holders (along with virtually all nationalities) receive a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival in the Maldives — no advance application or approval is required, just a valid passport and return/onward ticket.
• Currency and spending money: while the official currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), resorts including Kandooma typically bill in US Dollars, and cards are accepted for most on-resort extras (water sports, spa, optional cruises).
• Best time to visit: November to April is the dry season — calmer seas, better underwater visibility, and generally the more popular window to book. May to October brings the southwest monsoon, with more rain and choppier water, though it's also when rates tend to be lower.
