Begin the day with a local sightseeing tour of Munnar after breakfast. This city is 1600 metres above sea level and is located at the confluence of three mountain streams: Kundale, Nallathanni, and Mudrapuzha. This magnificent highland station was previously the British government's summer retreat in South India. After that visit to Tata Tea Museum (closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point, and in the afternoon, proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) to observe the rarest type of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars". Stay in a hotel in Munnar for the night.

Explore the unique network of lakes, lagoons, canals, and rivers. Visit a paddy field in the Kuttanadan Region, the only region where rice is grown below sea level.
